Color the Arts: First Citizens Center Courtyard

Color the Arts is a “colorfully casual mini-arts festival” event celebrating the diversity and quality of the arts in the greater Columbia region hosted by the Cultural Council of Richland and Lexington Counties in the First Citizens Center courtyard plaza (corner of Lady and Main). This 8th annual event will showcases extraordinary local talent in an art exhibition and sale, live music, live performances, and a silent auction featuring arts and experience packages. Columbia's Front Porch - 30th Annual Elmwood Park Home & Garden Tour

The 30th annual Elmwood Park Home and Garden Tour will feature six homes on tour and four gardens. Food demonstrations from several local chefs and wine tastings will all be on front porches. Some of Columbia’s most popular food trucks will be on hand to feed the crowd. Art and music will also be a part of the event in addition to classic cars and the always popular horse and carriage rides.“Elmwood Park is Columbia’s front porch, a place to come by and say hello and enjoy the history and good company at the same time,” said neighborhood spokesman and resident Brian DeRoy. Vestments given to Bishop Patrick Lynch while serving in Europe as the official Confederate diplomat to the Vatican.
