The Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Orangeburg host the 41st Annual Orangeburg Festival of Roses. This annual event celebrates the blooming of their gorgeous roses (82 beds of roses!) and an opportunity to enjoy the natural setting of the Edisto Memorial Gardens along the banks of the Edisto River, the longest black water river in the world. Riverside Drive is the site for the arts & crafts (hand crafted items and specialty items) show and sale, non-profit food vendors, and three stages with entertainment. The Kid’s Area will feature inflatables as well as food vendors catering to the child in all of us. EdStravaganza: For Adults! EdVenture Children's Museum

Adults celebrate the power of play as they engage in creative activities, music, and special performances throughout the evening. Have fun at tinkering stations and engage in light painting, plastic fusing, martini mixing and designing individual art tiles that will become part of a huge mosaic created that night! Live entertainment will be provided by Alternacirque, South Carolina’s premiere alternative circus art company. A tribal bellydancer, fire juggler, hoop spinner, stilt walker and aerialist will bring an atmosphere of magic and mystique to the night with mesmerizing body moves, tricks and spins combined with mind-numbing speed. Music by Cravin’ Melon, cocktails, hors d' oeuvres, and a silent auction will be held throughout the museum. Rosewood Crawfish Festival: Rosewood Community
